Hit the North was a great programme, Mark and Lard introduced me to alot of good music, and i also won a reading 93 ticket from them, where i saw the boos. tidy!

Mine was Lazy Day, on Hit the North, Mark and Lards programme on Radio 5, about 91/92.

It sounded good, i think it is one of the songs used as a loop on this site, one of the harder ones, with a vocal sample that sounds something like
'daaaaa da da da...........worra way to travel.'

I received Giant Steps from amazon today, first time ive heard all it for about 5 years, and i tell you what, it made the journey from Cardiff to Aberdare one of the most joyfull journeys i've ever ha ...

The only ones i am familiar with from the line up are BC, Four Tet, Culprit one, Sweet baboo and mr huw stephens. It's going to be a voyage of discovery.
