I'm loving it.

could this be the first vaguely grammatically correct use of this wonderful catchphrase? use of present participle while engaged in activity. amazing.

I'll transfer the minidisc to CD, rip it [minus the music], and make it available for download [there's no streaming on my webspace, I don't think] after I get back from my holidays, round about the 13th September.

I'm not going to let yesterday's peformance at Bolton piss me off too much. We've only got one league game in the next couple of weeks, so the new signings have got more time to bed in with their team mates. I think we could well see some transfer action before the window closes tomorrow. Apparently, we're still in for that young, Argentinian centre back [Colocinni?]... and, all of those who were trumpeting Owen's departure must be having second thoughts now. Fortunately, I think Garcia will - eventually - take a load off Baros and Cisse's shoulders. You're right, though, we still need another striker... Pongolle's too lightweight. They should stick him on a diet of scouse and ale Smile

download sounds good. my version is a bit crackly, though listenable.

i'm down because the second half against man city suggested a change to a more attacking approach and we looked dangerous and exciting for the first time in a long time. tuesday night might be put down to a reshuffled team, but two games in a row without ideas, passing and little threat is depressing when it looked like things were going to get better.

obviously benitez needs time to turn things around, but it could be a long season of enduring shite performances and taunts of "sign on" and "where's your owen gone". Sad

That was a great piece of radio.

It is great that this album seems to be getting a bit more of a push than the last one. Would love for this kind of interview to be broadcast on the English Evening Session, though not if it means putting Martin in the same comapany as Zane fucking Lowe. How anyone could listen to that selection of tunes and not go out and buy the album immediately is beyond me.

Big thanks to Andy W and the BBC website for making the interview, and then making it available to us all.

Lovin it.

dave the wubbleyoo and adam walton and bravecaptain and john mac etc should, i think, confine their lfc rants to the 'come on liverpool' thread as not everybody wants to listen to how depressed we are and besides it ruins the flow of a good old fashioned weller bashing.

and i think we should have a bit more respect for that useless old fart. x

My cock is always, most definitely, on.

I've just heard that Martin is playing at the venue I DJ in - Telfords Warehouse, Chester- on Friday 19th November... I hope some of you lot can make it. It's going to be a great night... so long as I've got my Cheap Trick infatuation on hold by then Smile

Hey Osama,
I thought you were lying on a cold-slab in the pentagon morgue, waiting to be wheeled out for the elections in November.

I gotta say if your latest terror attempts are up to your sense of your humour, there's not too much to worry about.
