I can be the first...
MY ONE AND ONLY FAVOURITE CLUB:
BARNSLEY FC
-I've been a big fan of the Reds for about 6 years... I know it's a bit strange because I live in Finland, but I've seen them 3 times already and I will never stop loving them. I just hope that they survive the current financial crisis - things aren't certainly not looking good right now.
Any other Barnsley fans here?
OTHER CLUBS I LIKE:
HJK HELSINKI
-The only good enough Finnish team, it's exciting to watch their international games.
LIVERPOOL
-The other English team I like... especially because of Sami Hyypiä and Jari Litmanen who has always been one of my favourite players... Damn Houllier, he sold his best player... And I don't like Steven Gerrard.
SALPA
-My local team in Finland... They play in Finnish 2nd Division. Barnsley came to play a friendly match against them 3 years ago in summer, and stayed here for 3 days - it was probably the best 3 days in my life so far!
CLUBS I DO
NOT
LIKE:
MANCHESTER UNITED
-Ugh...
BAYERN MÃœNCHEN
-Ewww...
CARDIFF CITY
-I've known for a long time that some of their fans are real hooligans, but I didn't really believe it. Well, I went to see Barnsley FC - Cardiff City last year and I just couldn't believe what I saw: Some Cardiff fans smashed a pub where I was sitting before the game and at the end of the game their fans broke some seats at Oakwell... I'm glad that Barnsley won 3-2! Now I listen to "Find The Answer Within" backwards with a pleasure. |

E laaaaa Juuuuuuuuuuuuuventuuuuuuusss e nostra la vittoria sara...
Or something like that, I might've changed some words...only accidently though. I love Juventus because I do, because I was 10 and I saw Schillachi and Baggio and fell in love (not like that, I was 10!) and they happened to be Juventinos at the time.
Juventina is of course female fan of Juventus.
Also, IFK Norrköping, nowadays crappy local team of the town I've lived in for the past 11 years.
Love and Peace

Come on Che, surely a true revolutionary can see the beauty in Baggio's game...shameful to comment it like that.
Schillachi was 90 btw, he was gone by 94 poor thing...but I don't think I'll ever forget his eyes....ever...

Well the bristol gig thread has found a few PLYMOUTH ARGYLE fans on this site. And i'll gladly declare my legience to PLYMOUTH ARGYLE anytime.
As for other teams i like... well one side is stressful enough thank you! Tried following England for a few years but Wembley were crap, and England away was always more fun but became more and more dominated by daytrippers and package holiday fans so i just couldn't get enough off it. So the only other team i can really be arsed about is Hungarian outfit FC GYOR. Play in green, hail from the west of their country and their fans like beer. Mmmm wonder who that reminds me of...
as for dislikes.... Gawd theres tons of them!! Can't list 'em all here but the first side i hated were Liverpool (Sorry Mr BC!) but thats 'cos when i were a kid all them who never went to footie (or played it) "supported" them (kinda like man u now i guess) and Burnley (I'm to upset to explain why, but all boys+girls in green understand) |
