Wake Up Boo forty times? Excellent, I like Wake Up Boo, that's the one about sunshine isn't it.

I've just had a look at the artwork on Amazon and I'm not convinced, its very minimalist and New Order-esque but not great:

Ho hum. Did anyone read the interview with New Order in Q this month? Barney is going to be 50 this year. 50! Ageing is rubbish.

Anyway surely he can't be 50????? I always figured he'd have been around 22 when Ian C topped himself just under 25 years ago....

Confused

He's going to be 50 next year according to this site which has a very scientific graph of New Order chart positions.

http://home.dialix.com/~u3336/factory/faq96.html

Is the new album really that bad? Surely even bad New Order is still quite good?

It's definitely good, very much in the vein of their latest LP with a number of pop/rock guitars-lead songs. Now obviously if you were just into early80's NO...

I liked Get Ready, I've been listening to it again recently. While we're on the subject of 80's electro pop....actually this is the Anthology thread isn't it....anyway, I bought the Pet Shop Boys Greatest Hits at the weekend. I've never bought anything by them before but there's so many top tunes on there.

I've got all the albums by Pet Shop Boys.
I haven't listened to them for ages but most of them are pretty good.
I think I'll play 'Behaviour' tonight.

The Boos Anthology tracklisting will be:

1. It's Lulu
2. Wake Up Boo!
3. Lulurus
4. What's In The Box? (It's Lulu!)
5. Lulu (... and me)
6. Wake Up Lulu!
7. Hip Clown Lulu
8. High As Lulu
9. (I Wanna Be) Touchdown Lulu
10. It's Lulu (7" version)
11. It's Lulu (acoustic version)
12. Free Lulu
13. Stuck On Lulu
14. C'mon Lulu
15. Last Night I Dreamt Of Lulu
16. Blues For Lulu
17. Fairfax Lulu
18. One Last Lulu

Remember you heard it here first!
