They aren't exactly current or anything, but I do not understand one note of the Grateful Dead. I mean, no acounting for taste and all, but a ton of people gave up large chunks of their lives to follow those freaks around and listen to them jaaaam, maaaan so there must be something there that I just don't hear. I certainly like some of the sources they reference, but I haven't heard a decent sonmg form them ever. All their progeny are equally mysterious to me, too. Phish and all that other hackysack crap...blech. Also, apologies to Them was great, Van is a secretarys who like Julia Roberts films, but Van Morrison is a load of shit. Don't know about boats that left me at the harbour, but I work at the docks and almost got left on board the ferry to France, so I guess in this case the harbour almost left me on the boat...
