They aren't exactly current or anything, but I do not understand one note of the Grateful Dead. I mean, no acounting for taste and all, but a ton of people gave up large chunks of their lives to follow those freaks around and listen to them jaaaam, maaaan so there must be something there that I just don't hear. I certainly like some of the sources they reference, but I haven't heard a decent sonmg form them ever. All their progeny are equally mysterious to me, too. Phish and all that other hackysack crap...blech. Also, apologies to Them was great, Van is a secretarys who like Julia Roberts films, but Van Morrison is a load of shit. Them was great, Van's a turd burgler.

- Hysteria at Michael Jackson
- Jackson wearing pjyama bottoms to court
- Daniel Bedingfield
- Mel C
- that 'comedy' with Jasper Carrott in, can't remember the name but it's pr banged on about the fact there was a disabled actor in it as the son
- Jethro('what happened was.....')
- Def Leppard
- Mark Morrison (how could he portray himself to be a hard man like any of the yanks, he's from bloody Leicester!!)
That's about it for me, mind you Gwen Stefani springs to mind too, never really got her or that No Doubt drivel
Oh and Todd Carty being an 'actor'

- Guinness (horrible)
- Kit-Kats (lightweight)
- Giant Steps (just kiddin')

Rolling Eyes

has anyone else noticed how the BBC keep recycling the same idea? 'Room 101' and 'Grumpy Old Men'/'Grumpy Old Women' is practically the same show... the names aren't even their own!
Can't wait for the return of Grumpy Old Men... or, Grumpier Old Men as it will be called by then

Don't know about boats that left me at the harbour, but I work at the docks and almost got left on board the ferry to France, so I guess in this case the harbour almost left me on the boat... Confused

Oi! What about your "well no-one says you have to like it" stance about Loveless in that other thread? I don't know where you stand on this issue anymore, you're flip flopping all over the place and will never become US President if you continue like this. The Board needs firm leadership at this difficult time.

What a massive thread this has become, it will be as big as the FOOTBALL one soon. There's no way that Kit Kats are over rated, they are a fantastic chocolate bar, simple but effective. Also Sydney is great, and so is Sidney the character out of The Bash Street Kids.
