10mb video of the last few seconds of the match and ynwa on tuesday night from the kop.
shaky camera work, crap sound, awful singing yet still strangely touching. |

That's a great clip, Dave... it's a shame that the singing goes a bit wayward for my favourite part of the song... the golden light... silver song of the lark bit. It's a shame George didn't turn the volume down on Gerry & the P's version and let the crowd take over at their own pace.
I had convinced myself that I was going to go to the final, but this wholesale exploitation of the situation by the agencies and the airlines makes me think that my money might be better spent on a widescreen telly, a polythene mat for the floor, a barrel of ale and an open door for all my Liverpool supporting mates to come round and get wrecked as we force Maldini and Stam into retirement.

It's an excellent dilemma, but what kind of cruel providence dictates that you and the Furries are up here on the same night that we get to our first European Cup Final for 20 years????

I wouldn't know, having never been to a bravecaptain gig!
it wasn't my suggestion, I was only joking too... but still, you could have more than one thing open at a time... and don't tell me you can't multi-task |

Can't see how it be done SFA 9.30 to 1100, BC 8.00 to 8.45, LFC 7.45 to 9.40 ish.
Coming out of Anfield after the semi I thought NOTHING would stop me going to Istanbul. £500 plus ticket, no accomodation has changed my mind |

The timing of bravecaptain being on stage isn't too bad, he'll see the build up (montages of slow motion footage of Jamie Carragher shouting set to moody ambient music) and the first 15 minutes of the game. In fact he'll only miss the last half hour of the first half (and therefore Liverpools 3rd and 4th goals of the evening) and will get to see all the second, plus extra time and Dudek doing the wobbly leg thing in the penalty shoot out.
Juventus beat Milan at the weekend, we beat Juventus and therefore we will beat Milan. Its simple mathematics.
Xabi's feet - save you cash for going to next years years final, Rafa got us there this year with a team no-one rates so imagine what will happen when he brings in some decent players. I'm fed up of reading articles about how this is the "worst team ever to reach Champions League final" (just like we were the worst team to go into the group stages/quarters/semi's). We beat the English champions, the Italian champions and the team who won Real Madrid and Roma's group in the qualifying stages to get here, I'm saying we're not that bad at all. |

what can we expect from the bc/sfa tour?
will you be playing new songs off of the new album, martin? i've not been to a laptop-type show, so i'm looking forward to hearing some songs off awobmolg/aowsb. will it be just you, or are you having a drummer and bass player again?
have sfa got a new album coming out soon? i haven't seen anything about one, but presumably they're not just touring for the sake of it.
not a bad week: bc/sfa sunday, european cup final wednesday |
