Also the Steve ...joins the Cure theard is a even better read.

Its weird how people can listen to the same album and see it in totally different ways: its happy, its sad, it poppy, its experimental etc.

Has there ever been a review of a Martin Carr album which doesn't mention the Beatles or the Beach Boys? The review of AWOBMOLG in Q said something about him continiuing his B/BB obsession, it sounded like the reviewer hadn't listened to the album at all.

I enjoyed reading that.

You should read it Martin, although your head might explode.

It's really great to hear how much that album (and indeed the others) mean to people, and everyone on there has clearly been moved by it. It must be such an incredible feeling to know that you've managed to achieve something as incredible as that, to influence, help and inspire so many people.

There's a lot of love in this room Wink

I couldn’t have said it better myself and that is the reason why I posted it. It’s good to hear from people outside the obsessive and see how that album had made them feel.

The Boo Radleys really were special and I’m glad that more than just a few felt it.

I hope Find Your Way Out really opens up some more eyes and ears to what Martin and company were all about. The timing feels right.

the only bad thing I can say about Wake Up! is that C'Mon Kids surpassed it for sheer crazy-but-genius'ness (...is that a word? hmmm)

This thing has some legs.

The conversation has turned to bravecaptain and so I listed a few songs that I feel are his best. I want to know if there are any glaring misses. So if you feel that I should add this or that song can you post it here or there for me or the people asking about bravecaptain stuff?
