FOOTIE! Tunes # 1
Now, we all know that 'Skywalker' by the good old Boos is a top tune, but believe it or not, there are a few other good footie tunes as well.
I was going to make some sort of a list of my favourites, but lists can be a bit boring sometimes, so I just decided to post my
current favourite
.

Bonus points will be awarded to anyone who can guess/remember where this classic piece of music is from!
Perhaps I'll post another song later...

I could only stomach about ten seconds of that, sorry. Have no idea where it's from either
and everyone knows the best football related songs are The Anfield Rap, Pass And Move (It's The Liverpool Groove), Put 'Em Under The Pressure, and Give It A Lash Jack (Ireland World Cup songs in 1990 ) and England's Irie by Black Grape. New Order's popular World In Motion song is overrated (coz of it being New Order, obviously)
Three Lions is shite, of course. Even Vindaloo by Fat Les is better than that. Oh and that "Sven, Sven, Sven Goran-Eriksson" one is just horrible
I can't think of any others now |

Well, I probably like 'Goal Scoring Superstar Hero' because of nostalgic reasons, but it's a cool song too.
New Order were ace but I agree, 'World In Motion' was a bit shite.

I think i said somewhere before in this thread that I thought Portsmouth would do well this season. I was very wrong, they were awful today against us. Good fans though.
Just watched the Real Madrid vs Barcelona game. Apart from John Barnes I don't think I've ever seen a player get past people as easily as Ronaldinho does. And the referee appeared to have a big Wu-Tang symbol on each arm which is obviously a good thing. |

The referee in yesterday's League One game between Barnsley and Rotherham (ended 1-1) was Mr.
T. Kettle
!!!
Brilliant! He sent three Rotherham players off and their manager too!

that must have been like winning the European Cup for a Barnsley fan.
shocking to see Carragher on the bench, even if he was probably only 20 back then. hmm |

| Kinkster - I hope you're spending your free mounting a 'Warnock Must Stay' campaign. He'd be a fool to go to Portsmouth I reckon. |

He would be mad yeah. But it's another, "Owen/Gerrard" situation. If he's a true Blade then he should stop messing around or just fuck off - I don't care where we are in the league, he's just pissing about.
