the before and after gig get togethers were a lot of fun, i think we had nearly all the chairs in the Spread Eagle at our disposal in a big circle radiating out form the table. discoRdance and myself were ordered to the bar after saying hello to the captain and miraculously when we got back two more chairs had appeared. the captain greeted us with great warmth so we immediately felt at home. what a gathering, not just the captain and sice but also ed ball appeared later and joined us as well as Steve Wood, the Boos designer plus Billy Caspar and Titbag Spears(he only posts here occoasionally), who was wearing a 15 year-old Boo Radleys t-shirt. And the Punk Rock Princess too.

the sound quality wasn't as good as at the Bull and Gate though it wasn't a bad venue really. the gig nearly got forgotten until sice left the pub and we figured we'd better follow...the material is good, personally i think that the songs in the soundclips are the strongest lyrically and musically though i didn't hear anything that i would really call weak at either gig. there's a really nice atmosphere at a gig when you know lots of people around you, quite different from the usual gig feeling. a shortish set as he wasn't headlining and no chance of an encore either so we all piled into the bar again!

had a nice chat with Billy Caspar who works not far from me, it turns out - small world! and he knows how to sneak into the Abbey without paying, good lad!! also had a nice chat with Sice about how he got the band together, he seems like a man who loves to natter, he had time for everyone. nice aftershave too Wink lovely Mary was at the bar, deep in converstaion with Ed Ball, i think she was on the Ed Ball Love Train, watch out captain! i swear che and the captain are secret twins, they were nicking each other's fags all evening...if che could grow a beard that is...

good fun and a good gig, couldn't ask for more! watch out Barfly!

Ah gillworm, what a great read, I wish I could have been there. Please come to Bexleyheath Paperlung. JD's all round?

Also, as Peter said, I would love to see the video.
