Me and Mrs Firesky are leaving Beautiful South Croydon to see the Lung shortly.
If you see a bloke with a head like a football and a nice looking bird (whos out of his league) come and say Hi and have a pint and talk some rubbish...

Paperlung were superb. Sound like a band who have been together much longer than they have.
Big loud joyous pop songs...
Support act chineseburn were very good too. _________________ we spent a lot of time trying to make our guitars sound like trumpets...then someone told us we could actually use real trumpets |

damn shame i can't read this at work, i would've said hello.
the Lung are getting better live, no doubt, i thought the band sounded fuller and more exciting that last time i saw them. nice venue too, that always helps. and they've got a snazzy sign with 'Paperlung' on it, Sice said that it's one of the band's bedroom mirror with a blue print stuck on - Snow Man works in printing don't ya know! _________________ (and gillworm! she's so funny!) |

Actually just for the record i'm more of a graphics designer than a printer(note "days that god sold you" artwork) but i did run my own business for a year doing vinyl stickers which is how i made the paperlung sign. Its so depressing going back to work after touring with "the Lung" :O( |

Wonder if his novels will get released? Under his own name? _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |
