i had lunch with someone nice. which made a fantastic change.
then i spent the rest of the day musing on the answer to life.
pleasant, if fluey, thursday. |

i had a little excitement on friday afternoon, opening boxes of welcome leaflets to stock the cupboard after a busy day. i had a nice new knife to do this and was just saying to a colleague, who had said she didn't like the knives we use, that i'd never cut myslef badly with a knife. and promptly did just that! the nearest a&e is a short walk away so one of our first aiders walked me over the bridge to the hospital and the nurse practitioner glued the cut back together. medical documentaries fascinate me, i always want the camera to go closer, but i have to admit i couldn't look at my own wee cut!

how does one cut oneself on one's wee?
or is there a consonant missing?
