I don't get it. 
"A world of peace" is a bit too optimistic thinking (nice idea though!), I'm afraid, it's never going to happen as long as the mankind exists, but hopefully we'll see the end of a few stupid wars in 2006.

There's a Swedish proverb "Om man siktar mot stjärnorna, når man trädtopparna"...it means 'if you aim for the stars, you reach the tree tops'. If the stars are world peace, then maybe the tree tops are pretty close...
About the singing, it's "The Sound Of Music", of course.

2006 has so far turned out to be the great year I felt it would...knock wood.
I still cannot believe I reached my goal. I can't believe I have a permanent job in my home town doing exactly what I want to do with lots of perks. It's insane.
