because the opening lines are 'i only knew you for a while/i never saw you smile'. and even though seeing someone for only a brief time during which they never, not once, smiled and were clearly having a very bad time with the whole thing, phil believes their relationship will last eternally in some kind of 80's tron style cyberworld.

There was good banter at the Sheffield gig too, with him slagging of the tradegy of architecture that was the new centre for popular music and is now the Student Union.

Walking around Sainsbury's last night, their chart says it went in at number 70. I think I'm destined to have all my favourite artists being underrated, unlistened-to genius.

I was listening to Chime last night, its so ace yet simple. Orbital seem to have been written out of music history these days though, they don't get mentioned in any 'best albums ever' lists apart from the ones I write in crayon on my walls at home.
