I don't wanna be harsh here, but maybe if you go an a forum with your main objective being seeking approval from people, then you will be disappointed. It's best only go on forums to shoot the shit with like-minded people, not get personal and not worry about what people think of you. It's very hard to judge a person's character from what they write on a forum. I'd say chillax the kaks, be lighthearted and not too critical of other people no matter what they write. and avoid posting starting topics relating to yourself. Personally, and I've only been posting here a while, I feel you are a sound person...but you see, the fact that I am even writing that brings me back to the first sentence of this post...... Wink

it's obvious, some people are a little more ultra senstive than others. Rolling Eyes so they end-up taking things more seriously than others.

Hey Set, I think you're great on here! I love the fact that you are so open, it's nice.

Being open leaves you vulnerable though, so you have to be prepared for that and not take everyone's comments too personally (after all, they don't know you personally).

I think you come over as very genuine, nice and trying really hard to 'do the right thing', but sometimes over-serious and easily offended (mostly through taking things to personally or too seriously).

One of my Swedish friends made an interesting comment to me once when trying to figure out the English, which was: 'So, when an English guy takes the piss out of you it means they like you, yes?'.

Forum's are generally for chatting about things lightheartedly (and if someone starts a more serious topic they must remember that a lot of people will still post lighthearted comments), but a good topic to get your teeth into is good too.
