Well, I was saying I'd -like- to apply for it, except that it was in Oxford, and I'm not...
Yeah, I was in a film (a short one) called 'Recognise Myself', it went well actually - great fun to make and watching myself 10 feet high in a cinema was crazy - certainly a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity anyway! If it ever ands up on YouTube I'll be sure to tell everyone... _________________ http://www.facebook.com/thelostcavalry

At the end of the song when it goes quiet it is exactly the same tune as that Oasis song that is the theme to The Royle Family. |

Dave from Shifty Disco had this to say:
We're aiming for a mid-October release in the shops but we'll probably sell some directly online a bit before then. Make sure you're on the Shifty Disco or Paperlung mailing lists to keep up-to-date with the latest info.

there's an album review on Channel 4 teletext today:
The Boo Radleys - possibly the most under-rated '90s UK band. It's taken nearly a decade for Sice Rowbottom to return with this.
That gorgeous, understated choirboy voice is gloriously untouched, at its best here on the melancholy ballads that made the Boos often heartbreaking.
What it lacks is intensity, more pace and fire to offset the undeniably lovely slower songs. A welcome return but one with room for development.
at least they spelled everything correctly this time.
although it should be melancholic not melancholy, surely? and the word often is in the wrong place in the last line of the second 'paragraph', but other than that, eh
