Its good and in places its very good but it can't help but feel like a let down cos its not as good as I wanted it to be in my head. I thought it was gonna be the album which kickstarted my 2007, took me in its powerful arms and told me its all gonna be OK. It seems a bit more straightforward and less interesting than the first album.

Maybe it will grow on me in time, like a huge impressive moustache. It took me 2 years to start liking 'Funeral' so it's still early days.

The Arcade Fire album eh? While it's not bound for Room 101 as yet, upon my first listen it is quite disappointing...

My latest addition to Room 101 is Egg - the credit card / finance company.

Do you not think it's an impressive building? I think its ace, a big old power station that anyone can now go into and walk around, unlike other old buildings which are turned into apartment and office blocks. Realistically funky old building like that are never going to be turned into homeless shelters, I'm glad its a museum.

Scottish Power for trying to get me to pay £350 for the electricty I haven't used in a flat I moved out of 2 months ago. To be fair I only rang them twice to tell them about it. How did the new tennants manage to get through £350 worth of power in 2 months? Must be a family of robots.

Oh I love the building itself. It's by far the best sight to be seen from the thames (or the area I saw). It's just the waste of space going on indoors that I took offence to.

Not as good as Battersea Power Station, I love that building. They're turning that into apartment blocks (well, and some shops and sport centre stuff I guess) apparently, though on past experience it'll just sit there another few years then someone else will buy it.

I want them to make it into a huge outdoor gig venue, that would be amazing (but a bit impractacle).

What's the best venue you've ever been to? Mine is an open air huge stone ampitheatre on Long Island, New York, USA that's next to the sea. When I saw Bowie play there a hug storm came in, you could see it coming over the sea - loads of wind and dark skies and lightning - amazing!

Best venue I've been to is Coachella by a palm tree lined desert mile.

New entry to the room - First Impressions Of Earth by 2001's band most likely to, The Strokes. Just heard it for the first time, a year and a bit after it first came out, as ever I'm ahead of the game. It's ropey in the extreme which is a surprise cos 'Juicebox' was the best thing they done did.

Another One Down by Giant Drag. The acceptable sound of lovelorn balladry.

Because its self esteem is so low that it crawled here from the 'Tune Of The Day' thread. And cos I'm rubbish with computers.

Thought so somehow... Is that song a new one then? Or off Hearts & Unicorns?

It's a new one, she played acoustic versions of four new songs on GTFU radio last week. They should still be saved here:
