Honestly John, that's the worst recommendation you've given me in 7 years!
Thankfully, they let me swap it for the MAPS album!

You shouldn't have taken it back to the shops. All my recommendations on this website are covered by the "John Mc Moneyback Guarantee". If you're not completely satisfied with an album/song/film/chocolate bar/goal/washing up liquid that I've said is life changingly good I will repay the cost of the item to you out of my own pocket.
I will also send you a Lionel Hutz style
smoking monkey
to compensate for any distress caused. It's this kind of customer service which has made me the internets 6th more respected washing up liquid pundit.
I still reckon the Battles album is ace. |

I usually hate the 'international break' but, when it guarantees your team stays top of the league for another two weeks, who's complaining.

International breaks are rubbish, if Fernando Torres gets injured playing for Spain I will cry. |

A very interesting read, what I try to tell people but it's so huge and scattered that I can't get my words together...

why don't liverpool play hyypiä as a striker?
2 goals in 3 games... it's time to drop torres to the bench i think.
come on baarnsli !

I remember the days when the FOOTBALL! thread had approximately a 1:10 reply/views ratio...
now there are 1886 replies and the thread has been viewed 324863 times... hmm... _________________

yeah, Tommy... the commentator on today's game informed us that he'd been 'among the goals lately'........ before pausing for a moment, then adding that it was
own
goals. I could almost laugh. The one against Besiktas wasn't his fault, to be fair to him, he just happened to find himself inside a pinball machine and couldn't get out of the way..

he'd be less of a liability up front, and couldn't be any less threatening than dirk kuyt. and it'll probably happen the way rafa's going. |

Arbeloa must be no use at centre-half or Benitez would surely have tried him there by now as an alternative to Sami. When's Agger back?
Jamie's been having a 'mare at times the last few weeks as well, although he must've been doing something right for Arsenal to have taken so long to score at Anfield. Think they gave him man of the match, anyway. |
