Tomorrow's Tune of the Day: Auld Lang Syne - a top tune with a top dance.

Yet another Factory documentary, this time on the BBCs fancy iplayer thing. This one contains excellent 'Granada Reports' footage of Tony Wilson being attacked by a Judo expert:

Have a good New Years Eve.

'Low' by REM. When I was a morose and awkward 14 year old I thought it was the most desolate song ever written. Now I'm a morose and awkward 31 year old I stand by that opinion. I just come on here to list tunes of the day now don't I, must learn to be more interesting.

Who's going to rule 2008 music-wise then? I want The Streets to come back with a concept album about my morose and awkward life called 'Why doesn't the fucking Bluetooth on my phone work". If anyone knows why my Bluetooth doesn't work then please let me know.

'Courtesans' by The Magnetic Fields. Ace album too, full of fuzziness, just like my head.

The new one, Distortion. It's good for overcoming a melancholy hangover or a 1-1 draw with Boro

British Sea Power - Lights Out For Darker Skies.

Only on the second song and I love this album already.
