OK, so who's going to see the live show this Saturday then?!
I assume that everyone here is on the bc mailing list and has already got this mail, but just in case someone missed it, here it is again:

We have received informations relating to this Saturday's Camden Crawl, and in particular a performance at:
THE SPREAD EAGLE on ALBERT STREET NW1 at 1430 HRS GMT
There is a rumour abound that Martin Carr - ex bravecaptain and Boo Radleys - will be performing a 30 minute acoustic set of tracks from his new album.

SEE YOU THERE!

Sounds very interesting and I wish I could be there, but as I made a little trip to London a week ago, I don't think I can afford another trip just yet!
However, I hope that someone from the messageboard will be able to go and then report back on the forum after the show. _________________

ouch, how did that happen?
that's a shame, looks like no one from here went then.
apart from the captain (he may now be retired from his captain duties but he'll always be captain to me) himself, obviously... so martin, how did it go? _________________

Martin's reviewed the gig on Facebook, he said 'I was ace'. And he was you know.
It was a set of acoustic loveliness, like I wanted the first bravecaptain album to be, with plenty of finger pickin' action. Can't remember any song titles but there was one tune about having writers block, another one which was called something like Bear Lake and the song he finished with was particularly good.
I'm not sure whether the album will be like that or it will be full of red hot electro grime mayhem but on Saturday the acoustic thing sounded ace.
How did you get on Mark, did the Camden Crawlers love a bit of Fanfarlo fun? |
