Nottingham has a Social too, you know, if you want to make it a treble... _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |

'Twas good. Martin and Mary were in fine form and the new songs are lovely. I really want to hear them performed with a big, meaty band so hopefully that will happen sometime soon. The only downer was that there were a few people stood around talking near me during the gig and, as the Social is a tiny place, it was distracting and irritating. People should be banned from talking during gigs, unless I'm the person who's talking, obviously. There's more about the gig here:

Stuff from other threads:
Burial should win the Mercury Prize because it's the best album which has been released in the past 89 months. It's a work of actual, real life genius and time has not diminished its menace and beauty.
Tune of The Day: 'Gold Tan, Peach and Grey' by Bodies of Water. I love them and want them to hold me tight and protect me from all that is bad in the world. |
