KID A
The world was probably not ready for this to follow up OK Computer but I reckon it's one of their finest.
Like the Boos and The Cure*, Radiohead have always seemed to make follow up albums that are a reaction to the one before rather than churn out the same thing again and again with diminishing returns.
*
See also Marillion - but saying you're into S&M is more socially acceptable than admitting to being a fan of theirs!

My body clock is all to monkeys. Drinking isn't making me feel like sleeping.
It is making me dig Tricky's Aftermath though. It grooves...... and I just love the Jethro Tull flute solo. The steal from Japan's Ghosts puts the cherry on it.
And is it me or is the main sample from Come Together....

LES Artistes - Santagold.
I just bought 7 albums that have no relation in sound whatsoever:
Santagold
Crystal Castles
Simian Mobile Disco
Fleet Foxes
Primal Scream
Spiritualised
Justice.
I love my life sometimes.

Wilmot
Sabres Of Paradise
Did this come before or after Lazarus? My memory is too hazy. _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

somethings in life are great.... our sublime second goal at ashton gate last night and both time & the photographer by the answering machine. i can't decide which is best so their both tunes of the day and - as the answering machine always do - demonstrate great riffs shit on guitar solos! _________________ Britain... TTLC, Football is aces.
As is 'Come Saturday' by The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.
Which may be about going to the match or, and this is more likely, falling in love. Not that I'm gonna choose cos both are the best things in the world.
So is the tune. _________________ Be sad, be happy and be wise |

i hope that post means wot i think it does fh - tell me at the Cardiff match whilst i bore ya with stories of taking mrs ttlc to see legia or polonia warsaw play!
things that make me think god doesn't exist:
brian may not being struck by lightning when belting out god save the queen on the queens celebration thingy;
fucking the country's economy up so bad yet get laid off on £560k a year pension and not having to do some kind of payback for yer, imo, gross irresponsiblity, i wouldn't prison 'im but a few years community service wouldn't go amiss.
things that make me think god does exist:
the big bang machine, i'm sure the big fella is pissing himself over that financial folly;
ulrich schnauss' remix of the high violets chinese letter, and that's why its todays TOTD
oh and lazarus was before wilmot. both are fucking tunes of ANY day.
