Even though it's a bit Cotton Eye Joe I'm gonna have to go for Zero by Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I'm unhealthily obsessed with that album at the moment.

Doves - The Greatest Denier. New album is pretty ace.

Also listened, also voted. We're not gonna get embroiled in an Ant and Dec-esque vote rigging scandal are we? I'll deny all knowledge of it but if I get arrested I'm taking you all down with me.

While we're on a BC board musician tip, the Fanfarlo album is ace, particularly 'Drowning Man' and 'Finish Line'. It's cheap too.

I'm off to a pub by the river in the sun. Spring! Yes!

thanks chaps, trying to get permission to issue a 320kps mp3 of this remix - that player is not doing justice to the work we have put into it!

Happy House by The Juan MacLean. Long and ace. The boy Carr gets a mention in the Quietus review of the album:

Anyone know anything about fixing washing machines? The small lake currently on the floor of my kitchen indicates that I don't.

"Alive with Pleasure" by Viva Voce.

Not only a great track, but I got a double CD of 2 of their albums (all also great) for a quid from Leeds market. I like markets.

Doves, Jetstream. As opening LP tracks go, it's pretty damn great. Shame the rest of the album is merely okay with flashes of good thrown in.

Metric, Help I'm Alive.

I'm somewhat in love with Emily Haines.

TOTD - Trust Me by The Streets. Hurrah! He's good again.

I think the bravecaptain board should be closed down until the swine flu pandemic is wiped out. If one of us has had unprotected sex with a pig in the past month, yes Kermit The Frog I am looking at you, then they could pass on the disease to the whole board. Better to be safe than sorry.
