I got it last night. Luna is as good a song as I've heard all year.

bloomin' swiz!
honestly 'aving shelled out for it proper and then finding there was gonna be a lovely box/postcard set from rough trade (there is and its lush)... i could've saved myself the price of, ooo, all of 16minutes ronaldo-less premiership football.
next time i see them i'm gonna, er, do nowt. I'm to much a coward!
Anyhoo i'm liking the sound of mcs lost cavelry stuff - sure he'll be much more scrupulous when selling his tunes

It's weird reading on here and finding you guys talking about the album! The $1 thing wasn't planned from the start by the way, hope you don't feel too ripped off, everything happened one after the other - the CD from the web site was made first just so we could actually sell the album, then the Rough Trade boxed set was suggested by Rough Trade, then things were chugging along nicely but the idea of the $1 offer came up as a way to really kick-start interest... which seems to have really worked too.
And I'm glad you like the album! I'm dead proud of it and it's crazy to think that now tens of thousands of people have heard my guitar playing! I agree Luna is a great track, but The Walls Are Coming Down is the highlight think, and I'm pretty fond of Pilot too.
Thanks TTL for that little advert for my new band too Glad you're liking the sound of it. We're recording a few more tracks in a few weeks so looking forward to that, plus I'm excited about some new songs we have on the way. The best thing is that it's so nice to be singing, much more fun than guitar!

Comets made me cry. You can't really say much more about a song if it has the power to do that. Such a rare thing, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Hermit Vs The World and Vanishing Point.

*
apparently it's already been released but you can only pre-order it on the fanfarlo website?

I'm going to see Fanfarlo tonight. Looks like they are on a massive US tour with Chicago being the first show. Looking forward to it immensely. _________________ Martin O'Neill's Claret And Blue Army |
