"Tried to kill me, break my will; you almost won, i hate you still"
Listening to the guitar solo before this lyric and continuing underneath it just brought a tear of appreciation to my eye.
Anyone else have one of those moments where you just get so wrapped up and emotionally involved with a Boo/BC song?
Or is it just me having a shitty day?

did get wrapped up with the whole of Kingsize lp (along with Sunhouses much underrated debut - and only? - lp) during ver hardest time of my life... tunes really helped me thru' n the 2 lps would always make any list of my fave 100 (or whatever) albums. |

First time I heard 'Wilder' i was lying in bed listening to it on headphones in the dark, and i just thought it was the saddest, most beautiful song ever...
And the second chorus of 'Ride The Tiger' where all the horns and stuff comes in together always makes my back tingle...
In the back of my head I always think of such moments in songs as 'I Am The Reserection Moments' because whenever they play that song in clubs there's always the moment when it drops out and you think will the DJ cut it short? ("No!") or will he play the whole crazy mental bit and when he does the crowd always goes wild - "Yay!" _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |
