Boo Radleys
Bravecaptain
Super Furry Animals
Idlewild
Suede
Those are my big five faves. And the fact that four of them are still making music today makes me really happy.

What did you think of Storytelling? I've never really got into that at all, despite liking all their other albums. Too many instrumentals, when much of their appeal is the clever lyrics...

yeah, there were too many instrumentals for me as well, but as it was a soundtrack i think we can forgive them, plus there are still some ace tunes on it. I agree it's the clever lyrics that appeals, like the smiths really.
Looking forward to the new album & DVD, although hope the change in labels/producer doesn't change them. The song titles sound ace, so thats a good start!

i was talking about current bands really, but if we're going for deceased bands then beatles/boos/smiths, would probably make the grade, yeah!

Ay, the new Mogwai album is a thing of beauty indeed, as are those previous though they are also a lot louder in their listening. |

Rim
Alf Stewart and the flaming galahs
aeroplane explosoplane
propane operated cock ring and the smegnuts from uranus
Yeah I'm really looking forward to any new albums these guys are releasing on the "Rhoids" label.
Maybe they are all real bands on the Melbourne grunge/electroclash scene. A real creepy scene. _________________ www.myspace.com/storkboychoons

There aint a single band in the world who could release anything that I'd love unconditionally
To wit: Highway61 Revisited, Bees of The Left Banque, Mary Mary etc etc.
However, Martin is the only person who could release an album that I'd buy without having heard any reviews or any singles.
Just as well really huh?
