So I've spent the better part of today listening to "Go With Yourself (The Fingertip Sessions Vol. II) by Brave Captain aka Martin Carr of the Boo Radleys. After the first two tracks that I don't think cut it, the rest of
the album is a wonderful pastiche of sound of color. Tracks like "Where Is My Head" have an ace "Pipers At The Gates Of Dawn" kind of Pink Floyd sound to it and there are these Jon Hassell like trumpets on "Ein Hoff Le" which make me shiver. "Reuben" maybe the biggest pop hit for Martin since "Wake Up Boo"!!!
You should all be looking out for this record.
