For lack of a more suitable thread, I'll keep spamming here...

Just received Advertisments For Myself, and what can I say, you were right! The album seems both more experimental and more accessible at the same time. After two listens, most of the songs already sound great. A few tracks sound a bit like filler, but maybe they'll grow on me as well. All in all, definitely a worthwhile purchase. (I now realise that I had downloaded "Rod's Got One" earlier - how come I didn't realise its brilliance then?)

NOW you can mail me, Tommy... Wink

If you already think it's great after two listens, it will probably become one of your all-time favourites! Wink AFM definitely needs more time and I still don't like everything on it. Well, I suppose it's impossible to learn to love 'songs' such as 'Bees Of The Left Bank' or even 'Birth Of The Project'... In fact I don't even think that they are proper songs. They're more like fun/weird bonus tracks on the album, I quite like them, but in a different way.
I will drop you an e-mail or PM soon, now I would only write you about AFM anyway and we can talk about it here as well! Smile
What's your favourite song on the album so far?
