I'am quite curious about the sales of Martin records.
I just read an interview to the french fanzine 'magic rpm about the incoming LP "Kingsize" (i know i just put things in order in my old stuff)
And this paper Martin was talking about 'cmon kids :[absoulutely nobody bought this LP, that's why they (Creation) controlled us in the making of this new LP]
So i would like to know how many of each LP of both boo radleys and Brave Captain were sold?
Is it possible ????????????

I seem to recall something in the excellent book on creation records "My magpie eyes..." where McGee said that 10,000 diehards will buy Kingsize just like all your (referring to MC) other records.
Except Wake Up! and Giant Steps obviously |

I could have sworn there was a site that had the #'s somewhere. The 10,000 sounds about right, although at one time I thought the # was closer to a thousand...but I've never been good at comma placement between numbers... heck whats the dif, either I make 30,000 a year of 300,00 |

I think it was Martin that said 900 copies were sold.
I reckon it was sarcasm _________________ "fashioned by the blade of a world that doesn't care,

I bought it 3 times (2 for Friends !!) so to me it's 0,3% of all that was sent ??? NO way...

I've bought it 3 times as well, twice for a friend...
Together we've bought 0.6% - I don't think so!
Maybe it sold 900 copies during the first week(s) or something? To be honest, I have no idea, but I think it has sold fuckloads since that. But that's just what I think - and I might be wrong of course!! _________________
