Surely its time for another blog entry, the last one was in November. "Captains Blog" is such a good title that it would be a shame to waste it. |

Excellent blog action. It must be difficult to know when a record is 'finished'. Presumably you can just keep on adding stuff and run the risk of 1) spending a Stone Roses-esque amount of time recording it or 2) adding every instrument known to man to the record and end up with 'Be Here Now'.
As for Soccer AM although I love the programme, one of my friends met Tim Lovejoy and says that in real life he knows very little about football. I reckon he only discovered football when Damon Albarn invented it in 1996. |

Soccer a.m is on in a bit, I noticed they've started with the 'you knows it' now *sigh*. It's not ours anymore. |
Did anyone catch Football Focus on saturday? Was that not the strains of 'wishing i was skinny' bringing out all the joys of summer prematurely in me? Is that different?
But I get the point. Went to see GLC in London a couple of months back, the whole atmosphere there was really weird, no-one really seemed into it properly, just there cos they should be, not cos they wanted to be. i mean, that cock from the darkness was threre. a bit sad really. hoping for better things when they support sfa in london in a few weeks.
anyway, sorry i've not been around for a while. getting namechecked on the opening track on the coral nightfreak.. record kind of went to my head:
The pubs are closed, the streets are cold
Billy Casper buries the bones
Of a boy that cried, learned to despise
I'll make them mine, her precious eyes
cheers,
billy

Are Goldie Looking Chain any good? The couple of tracks that I've heard sound like something off Spitting Image. |

GLC...
...the one about the guy who thinks he's a robot after "smoking loadsa draw" always makes me laugh.
Anyone know anything about the SFA/GLC collaboration on the Furries' upcoming "Slow Life EP"?
