Just had a look at price of day tickets.
£45 quid plus a possible 5.50 booking fee plus postage.
Sorry I haven't a chance of affording it Have a stormer Martin.
and anyway, I'm still bitter about you pulling out of Leeds 2001 when I had a weekend ticket _________________ "fashioned by the blade of a world that doesn't care,

I'm going to be away in August so I'm not going to be able to make it either. It’s a pity cos I would have like to have seen BC in the Dance Tent, I wonder if all the new stuff will be as full-on dancey as the track on that TV programme last month.
I'm amazed that The Streets are below the Lost Prophets and Placebo on the bill. Does anybody care about Placebo anymore? |

i like placebo. i'm sure lots of other people do too.
don't know how festival bills are decided, but placebo are a more established act than the streets i guess |

While I haven't bothered with the last two Placebo albums, I saw them at Leeds in 2000 (Jesus nearly 4 years ago already!!) and they were fantastic. I was absolutely smashing it down with rain and there was lightening just to the left of the stage, really magical stuff.
Leeds / Reading is a perfect place really for Placebo. It's a mainly Rock crowd with lot's of Goths etc. Basically if it was any other festival then maybe the Streets would be above on the Bill, but never at Reading. _________________ "fashioned by the blade of a world that doesn't care,

maybe cos he usually plays in cardiff, which is impossible to get to in less than a day, or in italy. and paying £50 for a festival ticket is only worth it if there are loads of bands you wanna see.
israel can do what they want because america will support whatever they do cos the president can't piss off jewish voters.
if alan smith hadn't been such an obviously committed leeds player/fan no-one would be that bothered who he signed for. he did his best while he was there, and it's understandable if he wants the best move for his career now. can't really believe a leeds fan would want to go to man u, though... |

Ah that's bad luck Paulie.
As for Alan Smith, I really hope he doesn't come to Juve, I've seen him wear an Interscum shirt...and he's not that great anyway.
