It's just stuck in my head! I swear every morning I have woke up with the damn chorus singing itself away to me.
The fact that it's not irritating me yet has to be the sign of something great

i now have this song stuck in my head. so, thanks for that
it's not really irritating, but i don't think it's single of the year.
her album got 9/10 on teletext today. it's as good as free all angels, apparently. |

What is going on here? Charlotte Hatherly? Ash haven't done anything really decent since 'Trailer'. Uncle Pat probably the best. Can't comment on this single of the year. Not heard it, and I would say that the best single of the year hasn't come out yet. Christ knows what it'll be. Mind you, I must say that the last single that impressed me was Idlewild's American English. God, I'm getting old. Bugger |

have you heard free all angels and meltdown?
if you have and think they're rubbish that's fair enough, but they seem pretty good to me, especially compared to trailer which is a bit patchy (although petrol, uncle pat and jack names the planets are great).
if you don't rate songs like kung fu, a life less ordinary, jesus says, burn baby burn and orpheus then we obviously just have different tastes in music. |

I'll admit that Kung Fu is great, and for that matter so is A Life Less Ordinary, still think they've gone a bit poo though. You can't assume a have a very different taste in music to you just beacuse I think this about Ash. |

everyone has different taste in music to some extent. i'm not criticising your taste in music; it just differs from mine in respect of ash. i don't think their lyrics have ever been that great, but they consistently churn out great tunes in my opinion.
presumably we have a shared appreciation of bravecaptain and the boo radleys! |

Still love Summer but nowhere near single of year as I first guessed it could be.
Quite obviously the Eating The Afterlife EP innit _________________ "fashioned by the blade of a world that doesn't care,

thanks.
if the album as a whole is "alright" the non-singles must be pretty weak, so i'll just stick with what i've got. |
