Round the corner where they chased her
Theres tears coming out from everywhere
The citys hard the citys fair
Get back inside you've got nothing on
no you mind yer bleedin own you two bob cunt

When she wakes up in the morning
She writes down all her dreams
Reads like the book of revelations
Or the Beano or the unabridged ulysses
Oh i really wanna know
So tell me, where does all the money go where does all the money go
Straight, straight up her nose

And i never really liked it any way
So much preferred it the other way yeah

What a divvy what a fucking div
Talking like a moron, walking like a spiv
I was laying in bed paying my rent
Knocking on the door for something that she lent her brother
Meanwhile from under the covers she says
Save me from tommorow, save me from tommorow
Oh no, Oh no not me

And i never never liked it any way
So much preferred it the other way yeah

The Libertines are great. They're possibly the only charismatic British popstars around at the moment. And they're on TV with Jonathon Ross tonight for those crazy party people who stay in on a Friday night and watch BBC1 i.e. me.

They're pretty fast becoming my new favourite band. You heard it here first. Fucking ace on Wossy last night.

In other news, I went to get a new string for my Telecaster today + ended up buying a Riviera.

Sweet.

Has anyone heard that song "For Lovers" by Wolfman, featuring Pete Doherty from the Libertines on vocals? Great track!

I'm not sure about that single, it’s a little too close to Coldplay/Keane/Snow Patrol/Phil Collins territory for my liking. I prefer the Libertines when they're pretending to be Rent Boys and getting put in prison rather than trying to sum up the mysteries of love.
