I've been listening to "Isn't Anything" almost constantly for the past week or so. I've got that album, "Loveless" and "You Made Me Realise" on a compilation CD. What other MBV stuff is worth buying?

The 'Glider' ep is incredible.
The 'You made me realise', 'Feed me with your kiss' and 'Tremelo' ep's are headfuckingly great..
Pre 'You made me realise', I would recommend the 'Strawberry Wine' single and the 'Ecstacy' Lp. There is a record that has both on it, I think it was called 'Ecstacy and Wine'.
All their records are great, the early ones are pretty much standard eighties indie but as good as anyone else at that time. x

I should point out that I think you'll have a hard time tracking these down unless they've been re-issued. x

Or to make it easy (probably), you could download them using one of those music download things, you know. z

Thanks for that. Some of the early EP's are available on a box set from Japan that can be bought through Amazon so I'll probably buy that.

Cheers. I've just checked and the Japan release isn't a box set, its a double CD with the You Made Me Realise, Feed Me With Your Kiss, Glider and Tremolo EP's on plus another CD with 8 unreleased tracks.
