I just listened to paulwhite's "Cartwheels" followed by Wilder.
When Sice sings softly like that the voices are

if you can sing and play guitar and write songs, which you can, i'd say you haven't got too much to worry about paul. you'll find your own voice in time, and until then sounding like sice or morrissey or tim buckley is hardly an insult. chin up la.
and returning to the original subject, i think suzanne vega's great. go see her in concert if you get the chance. a splendid time is guaranteed! |

Yeah, that's right. Suzanne Vega isn't bad at all.
Here I am now listening and singing "In Liverpool" with Suzanne Vega who's stuck inside my computer - believe me, that's one beautiful duet!
Oh yes, she has a nice beautiful voice.
But so has Cerys Matthews of Catatonia. Just listen to the last song from their last album... "Arabian Derby" - absolutely stunningly beautiful. _________________

I bet she'd be really good live. I saw her doing Tom's Diner accapella on Top of The Pops 2 last year and bought her greatest hits after that. |

The greatest hits album is indeed well worth buying. It doesn't have 'Tom's Diner' and 'Blood Makes Noise' on it though, they're both very good songs.
Suzanne Vega is a cool name too, don't you think? _________________
