Yes there's no shame in admitting to being tricked by the NME. I was tricked into buying the very first Symposium single with the promise of a life changing sonic experience only to be affronted by the aural equivalent of a small boy having a poo in my ear. I've never trusted them since then, as you can imagine.

I think the NME have gone over the top with them like. Theyre still a fairly new band. A year ago, they were playing toilet venues. Im a big fan but I wouldnt call the album a classic. It has some amazing moments and is a great little debut. I saw em live the other week and if the new stuffs anything to go by, the 2nd album will be a classic. Stick with the album though, its a real grower. Especially Good Horse Hymn. That chorus man. Shocked

I loved the single 'The Red, the white, the Black and the Blue', so I bought the album...took a while to grow on me too but I think they're abnd to watch for in the future.
