Goodbye!

Right then clarts, after this I won't be posting on here for many months. I'm finally heading off around the world and I intend to spend as little time as possible staring at a computer after spending most of the last 5 years at work doing just that. I'll be away from the UK for a year and when I return I hope to see Liverpool FC celebrating their unexpected treble victory of 2004-05 and "All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace Vol 2 - Revenge of The Machines" topping the charts.

For the past 10 months I've been trying to make time pass faster at work and so have spent many hours reading this message board (this isn't mentioned on my CV and if any of you are rich and want to offer me a job then I promise to work very hard for you). I love that fact that although BC hasn't released a new album for two years, virtually every time I logged on to the site there would be someone else there, even if they were mysterious "hidden" people. It's great that Martin Carr is still making music and that people still care about it.

Unfortunately I'll miss out on the BC tour and album release which is a bastard as I've been looking forward to "All Watched..." for ages. I'm sure I'll be able to pick it up on import somewhere though and at least I've got the EP to listen to for now.

I've just been out to buy some CD's to listen to on my travels and they are:

To The 5 Boroughs by The Beastie Boys
Lick Your Ticket by Chikinki
Wave of Mutilation by The Pixies
Critical Beatdown by Ultramagnetic MC's
Destroy Rock & Roll by Mylo
College Dropout by Kanye West
Bringing It All Back Home by Bob Dylan
So Tough by St Etienne

Apart from So Tough I haven't heard any of them before. Hopefully at least one of them will change my life or at least pass a few hours on a plane.

Martin - you should keep a tour diary like the Milan one, get it printed up and sell it through the site, you could be an Ian Hunter for the new millenium. I hope the new album is a big success.

Everyone else - Thank you for entertaining me with your bizarre/informative/amusing postings on the message board.

Boo Forever!

John Mc

have a great time john!

thanks for sharing my lfc-inspired misery over the last few months...

if you're staying anywhere for a while, rather than just travelling around, and have an address i'd be happy to send you the bc cd if you can't find it.

Dear John, enjoy it muchly, it'll be the experience of a life time I'm sure.

We'll all miss you.

Liverpool can have the double, but the treble? Neh...Juve must win the CL again.

Love and Peace
