i'm sorry to hear that Sad

i was made redundant 2 months ago. my life has been reduced to failed job interviews, too many games of solitaire and freecell and periods of self-loathing.

Well the worst thing is that if I don't get a new job immediately I wont make it to the Cockpit on the 22nd.

I have my first interview since the great news on Friday, wish me luck!

hehehe thanks one and all.

Truthfully though I haven't wanted to work for the cunt since the bonus episode i relayed to you all.

I'm viewing this as a well timed kick in the arse and optimistically believe in the end it could be the best thing ever to happen to me.

Time will tell

that's pretty much what i hoped, but it does depend on finding something better, or anything in my case.

hopefully you'll have better luck than me (ie get something in less than 2 months) and someone will call to say i've got one the jobs i haven't been rejected for yet...

Tomi - HOLY SHIT!!! Cheers mate Smile

Dave, I spent 7 months of 2002 unemployed before getting this job so I'm well used to it mate. Whatever happens, my next job will be more secure.

I'll survive Smile

Kris @ Home says:
today could rate as one of the worst of my life
tommyboo says:
why?
Kris @ Home says:
well this morning I gave the interview of my life
Kris @ Home says:
was told by the agency that I was 1 of 4 people being interviewed
tommyboo says:
hmmm. and then?
Kris @ Home says:
and there were 2/3 jobs going
Kris @ Home says:
I was also told one applicant had definitely failed
tommyboo says:
oh, i know what's coming now. bugger.
Kris @ Home says:
so that made 3 people for 2/3 jobs and I gave a great interview - and I still didn't get it
tommyboo says:
ah. that sucks.
Kris @ Home says:
then I fell of my bike and broke it
Kris @ Home says:
then I spun my car in the rain
Kris @ Home says:
then I couldn't go bc tonight.

and now I don't have an early copy of the album!

DAMNIT! Twisted Evil

that's a bad day alright.

i got rejected for a job i went for a couple of weeks ago today. there were 3 psychometric tests, which apparently i did really well in, and a brief chat which was meant to be for them to tell me about the job, and they've turned me down for not being outgoing enough. the agency say i will have to change my personality. so that will be easy.... Rolling Eyes

oh well, at least i haven't had any transportational difficulties today, having not left the house.

please can we have our pre-ordered albums soon?
