I was clearing out some junk last night and found Martin's setlist from a Boo gig at the Garage . Really glad I've still got it. It was an ace gig, I remember that it was the first time that we'd seen Sice with a shaved head and everyone in the crowd seemed a little amused when they came on. They opened with 'Does this Hurt?' which was always a personal favourite and it was really fucking loud. A great gig. I was right near Martin and during the middle of 'Lazy Day' he came over to me and showed me what he was playing as he'd noticed me trying to work out various chords to songs throughout the night. D, Em etc. Cheers Martin! Only other memory from that gig was thinking how damn good 'I've Lost the Reason' was (Sice really screamed on that one) and how 'Peachy Keen' sounded like the most perfect pop song ever written (it still does).
No real reason for this post, just needed to share memories of a fantastic night.
