"Being omnipotent, I get to see quite a lot of gigs (honestly. if I have to see Babyshambles one more time I swear I'll smite myself), but few tickled my holies as much as the Mighty Boos circa 1994. 'Lazarus'? Lovely bloke, even better tune. 'I Hang Suspended'? Tell me about it, mate. The Boos were a classic case of good souls overcoming God-sent hardships - the hairless Sice with the voice of an angel, Martin Carr developing as a supremely talented songwriter despite coming from Preston. A place on my right hand awaits them in the afterlife, as long as they leave behind their Brave Captain records."
