I'm sorry to say it but the best thing I've heard all year has to be 'Vertigo' by the mighty U2. It does entertain the senses I have to say, as cliched as it may seem. Maybe I'm just getting old, I don't know. Mind you the last two things to really excite me bar BC was the Cardigans last album and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Mind you I did nearly cream my pants when I saw Madonna do 'Like A Prayer' at Wembley this year. And is it me or is Andi Peters a complete arse?

A companion in my madness....
I too am liking very much the U2 album, despite not really being a U2 fan.
However, I too am concerned that I am getting old and a bit middle of the road. I'm thinking things like "What's this?, it's got a good beat!"
Can't wait for the next REO Speedwagon album _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

Damn it I knew it reminded me of something! I'm never going to be able to listen to it again now.
I wonder how much Apple had to pay them?

I bought an IPOD in January and it now has the battery life of a dodgy watch bought from the market. Sod the third world, Bono should be campaigning for longer battery lives on digital music players.
You'd have thought U2 would have made enough cash now that they could turn down advertising stuff like that. 'Beautiful Day' was alright but it is now forever linked with Andy Townsend and Robbie Earle spouting nonsense between matches on a Saturday night. |

Bono has to be plugged in and charged like an Ipod every night. I know my mate told me.
He's also a very greedy man for someone who so sanctimoniously likes to tell teh rest of us about the troubles in the world. A. Very. Greedy. Man. oh yeah and small-minded. |

Bono is an ego maniac. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either a U2 fan, or very naive... or both |

Yeah but I don't know much about Bono so you people will have to explain.

Well egomaniac or not, he does more good than bad outside the music industry, so who gives a shit? _________________ "fashioned by the blade of a world that doesn't care,
