Forgive me for being petty, but wasn't French Canadian bean soup free with C'mon Kids? I only say this because if this isn't the case my memory is going. I even put my handbag in my fridge the other day. Dementia setting already!! I'm sure it was as I remember getting really pissed on Vodka listening to the first three songs of C'mon Kids. By the time of Get on the bus, I was off my trolley. And Countdown was on. I look back woth fond memories of being at college!! Hooray!! |

I think I got mine ordered from my local independent shop, who always prices his stock far too high. However, funnily enough, he still expects to actually sell crap such as Gay Gordon and his wurlitzer. And Adam Ricketts. Mug. |

French Canadian Bean Soup was on the free 7" with the double vinyl of C'mon Kids. It was backed with Skywalker.
Somewhere, in amongst the chaos, I've got it. _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

i got mine from hmv. it came out the same day as new adventure in hi-fi by r.e.m.. i had a job interview the next day for which i was hopelessly underprepared, having spent the whole day listening to them instead of finding out everything there was to know about royal liver assurance. oh well. a fine day for largely unappreciated music.

I got it on soulseek. It's actually called Black Sessions 1998
Kingsize/Everything Is Sorrow/Reaching Out From Here/Bench At Belv./She's Everywhere (cut)/Adieu Cloclo/What's In The Box/Comb Your Hair/Eurostar/Free Huey/Find The Answer Within/Get On the Bus (cut)
All live - no indication of where/when, nor do I beleive it is complete, which was why I was after info on it...
And YES PLEASE would like a copy of boo-sides as some I haven't got on there - I'll do you something in return natch. _________________ Scattershot Writing: www.jameseverington.blogspot.com |

Back to Lazarus, I saw the video for the very first time today. It's number 411 in VH2's "Indie 500". Tried to record it but Sky+ failed to work. My only question is: why is Rob holding a fish-bowl in the background? Is it a significantly magic fish-bowl?

Hi I am new here too. I was listening to Giant Steps last night - My best album ever and wondered what happened to the band. I cant wait to hear Brave Captain but I dont have internet access at home til March to download stuff. Is it Boo Radleysesque with lots of experimental sound? Hopefully through this site I can catch a gig. I went to St Marys Upper School in Wallasey so Four Saints, Bench at Belvedere and New Brighton Promenade hold a special place in my heart, I was in the year below Sice's sis Ursula (didnt know her particulary well) but I had the plasure of being well and truly bollocked by his aunty (a teacher of fiercesome reputation) ha ha. Erm thats it folks me boss is comin I am 30 now no more bollockings for me _________________ Half man Half machine what does it mean? what does it mean? |

Welcome. The Boos have now departed this mortal planet pop...but still exist in pop heaven for everyone to enjoy retrospectively.
You are in for a treat if you havnt heard any Brave Captain managing to be both experimental and amazing with the faintest sprinkling of BOO! magic dust to keep us all smiling. _________________ "we wanted to make a sound like penguins going to the post office to collect their pension money" |
