Over the last couple of months I've bought all the NEWorder stuff on cd at some very reasonable prices as some of the original Factory vinyl was incredibly poorly pressed and jumps to fuck nowadays.

Lowlife is indeed ace, but i like brotherhood as much if not more.

And I never really liked republic ('cept regret) but I picked it up yesterday and think it rather wonderful, though not as nuch as technique.

Do you get my drift, oh, they are all so good, except maybe movement!

Just got Low Life on cd and it's no Technique. It's still pretty cool though especially Sunrise, but does anyone know if i should have a "Barney" picture in that fancy tracing paper sleeve cos i don't, just the other three.

If not why not? Could he not make it when they were doing the arty portraits? Had he been temporarily kicked out by Hooky for the jazz-like height of his guitar? (Do you think Hooky used the excess bits of strap off Barney's guitar to make his extra long straps?)

For the record Hooky's been promoted to the front sleeve despite his mullet.

on the original vinyl Stephen was on the front cover and Gillian on the back. Poor Barney and Hooky had the inner sleeve.

i got it as a pressie many years ago and it didn't have the tracing paper sleeve at all.... though it should have

Factory sleeves may have had great design but always had shoddy manufacture

Did anyone really need that pointless info?
