Yeah it was, but it's an historic Argyle trait to start slowly.... often never to improve above mid-table plodding for half the season. We love it though as we're the most average club in England |

Was a boring game, but 0-0 away against West Ham I thought was a decent result....

Plymouth were utter crap for all but 20 1st half minutes, but, hey, in that time we scored 3 including a stunner from Jason Bent (who the f*** is Edgar Davids when we've got Jason Bent Bent BENT - he ain't got the cool glasses mind!) |

Aston Villa 0 - 0 Liverpool
Pretty good for a goalless draw. Aston Villa were much better and Liverpool were pretty crap. Michael Owen flashed his skills a couple of times but Aston Villa should have won. Great free kick by Juan Pablo Angel (hit the post) and McCann played a superb match.
Middlesbrough 0 - 4 Arsenal
Henry scored the first from rebound just after 5 mins and Gilberto Silva scored another soon after that. Brilliant goal. Wiltord scored his first on the first half from Henry's great pass and another on the second half (I didn't see that one). Magnificent performance from Arsenal. _________________

Doncaster Rovers 1 - 1 Huddersfield Town
Town dominated the first half after scoring in the 7th minute but then in the second half Rovers looked by far the better team with a storming header from Leo Fortune-West in the 47th, but despite constant pressure on the Huddersfield defence, couldn't make a winning goal.
