606 was only good when Danny Baker was presenting it, since then it's just a load of dull people like me ringing in to tell you stuff you already know. I hate people like me.
Fiorentina's stadium looks very cool doesn't it. |

adrian chiles is great when he's allowed to do it, and i can cope with alan green 'cos at least he understands the game. but football talk phone ins are evil, and 90% of callers are arses YET I STILL TUNE IN. like a crappy bit of left over food that you know you shouldn't eat, that you know don't even want but can't help yourself...
i think there are only 3 great bits of media that are footie related now:
motd2
wsc
setanta non-league coverage.
todays shakesphere play of the day
King Lear.
todays tune
baby give it up by kc & the sunshine band. _________________ Britain... It's not that Great! |

They have cameras in the dressing rooms for the Setanta non-league stuff don't they?
James Richardson's Guardian football podcast is good as well and The Fiver is still funny. |

i know i support a championship team but i think the weekly round up on saturday mornings is great - so many great stories from all around the divisions and you just get stacks of goals instead of bullshit pundits.
wsc is still well worth the subscription too.
and while we're at it i'm with you on kc & the sunshine band too! |

In a week which involved Man U winning the Champions League and me winning a Chelsea baseball cap in a raffle this is definitely the best football related thing to happen. |

isn't there one more play-off final on Monday?
I'll be cheering on Spain most of all at Euro 2008, naturally enough. Time they delivered in a major tournament, really. I say this before every World Cup and European Championship, mind. |

Yep, I was there. That's two lifetime-ambitions covered in one day: going to Wembley and seeing Donny play there. Fantastic game overall, and getting the result over our local rivals made it so much sweeter. Nice to be able to show the once-mighty Leeds that the Rovers are more than just a little pub team.
Championship football next season... it still hasn't sunk in yet. _________________ "It's too beautiful to stay inside..." |

I gonna be Dutch during the European Championship. Cool kit, a manager who refuses to show any signs of ageing, Kuyt, Babel - they've got it all. |
