|
|
Hi, I am asking so many questions as I am hoping to make a website on The Boo radleys, and to do this, I would like people's views and opinions. To do this, I would like to know:
What's your favourite Boo Radley song, and why?
Many thanks for your time! _________________ Boo Babe |

Fave song and why? Hmm... my fave Boo song changes all the time but I think my fave right now is actually
From The Bench At Belvidere
(random thought: is that on the anthology?) simply because it is the most played single I own. Everything about that song reminds me of how great 1995 was. Those long summer days will remain in my heart forever.
Also I think special mentions should go to the full length version of
Lazarus
,
Kingsize
for always being there for me when nobody else was, and
I Want A Rainbow Nation
for costing me a bloody fortune.
Ichabod & I - Catweazle (As a precursor of everything to come.)
Learning To Walk – The Finest Kiss (It's good. It's very good.)
Everything’s Alright Forever – Memory Babe (Why wasn't this a single?)
Giant Steps – Leaves And Sand (The song that got me into the 'Radleys.)
Wake Up! – Wilder (Always brings a tear to the eye.)
C’mon Kids – Everything Is Sorrow (Incredible song. Fantastic lyrics.)
Kingsize – Kingsize (Always made me smile.)
B-side - Everything Falls Away (Because it's great.) |

I bought "I Want A Rainbow Nation" for about £2 in some little record shop in London some years ago.
Don't ask me about "Ichabod & I" though... _________________

I managed to get "Ichabod & I" for a tenner off the internet. I seem to remember "I Want A Rainbow Nation" costing me a little more than that. _________________ "It's too beautiful to stay inside..." |

Wouldn't you have rather got a pirate copy off someone then sent Martin a Tenner?
Too much money these Stowdents

That's a novel idea to combat piracy!
Copy what you like but send the artists a donation!
It could work both ways. If something is absolute bollocks the artist can compensate you for them wasting your time.
Let's put it to the BPI and the RIAA. I reckon the record companies would like it 'cos all they'd have to do is stick some MP3's on the net, no production costs, distribution etc.
Might just work! _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

fav boos song - probably leaves and sand or kingsizem, just big bastard pop songs that expand and dilate without fear.
i could have got ichabod and i for forty pounds from sister ray and i was close but me and cash have a strained enough relationship as it is and i heard its not very good anyway, i love the boos as much as anyone i mean everythings alright forever and onwards are some of my favourite albums but i got boo up ep( ithing with tortoise shell and finest kiss) and it wasnt as good, not bad just not special. |
