I will be spending the next 26 hours on various planes flying back to England and am hungover like a dirty dog. Drinking is rubbish.

The weather's good over here, though, John.

There is that.

I can't imagine how horribly draining it must be to fly for 26 hours.

Yuck.

Isn't having a job interview a good thing?

I survived and its good to be back in Englands green and pleasant land. If anybody needs a run down on what to do in the event of an emergency on an aircraft then feel free to ask me as I've seen the run through 3 times today. The key thing is to take off your high heels shoes before exiting the plane on the bouncy ramp.

Yes, having a job interview is a good thing.

Not having a job in the future is a bad thing.

I'm never going to get another job for the rest of my life.

Love & Peace

Does that mean you're going to stay in the job you're in now or not going to work at all, anywhere?. I've got to update my CV and haul my ass around the job agencies in the next few days, not a pleasant prospect.

I'm still at the stage where its a nice novelty to be back. Give it a week though and I'll be in full on depression mode though and planning my next trip. At least the kind people at UEFA have brought the start of Liverpools season forward for me.

It means it feels like I will never be able to gain work. My current employment expires on September 29th. Despite having a good education and experience getting a job is not simple anyway.

Love & Peace

P.S. At the time when I wrote it I had just found out that the job where I went to a job interview for, I didn't get. Even though I did well and it felt well. Damned.

i didn't mean to sound ungrateful. it's better to have a job interview than not have one, if you're looking for a job. i just really hate them.

i was so nervous i was shaking. probably not the best way to make a good impression.

i probably won't get it, but it would be great of i did, as it's in liverpool meaning i could move back there. birmingham's too far away.
