and the equally as good and UNBELIEVABLY SPLENDID AND I MEAN USE OF CAPITALS 'COS IT WAS THAT FANTASTIC A GIG the Longcut. Both have made my year.

Idlewild are great.

Admittedly I like their first album more than the others, as it was much more raw and loud - they've gone increasingly in a 'pop' direction (just the direction mind - they're nowhere near pop proper!)

My current choice is The Herbaliser - Take London.

Now, I'm not usually a fan of Hip Hop but this is good. Maybe it's the Jazz samples but there are some good tracks on there.!

I love it when I'm surprised by something I wouldn't think I'd like.
