This is the face of a man who has had a thoroughly good night out:
There were 23 people logged into the website today at one point, anyone know what caused the sudden surge in interest? |

If I was a man I wouldn't want to look like him.
Maybe playing cricket gives you a boring look...haha.

no, my ma and pa have gone abroad this week so I'm having to do my own cooking and washing and everything. do you think this warrants a call to childline?
a power play is the name for the blocks of five overs in which the bowling team must have a certain amount of fielders inside the circle of the playing field. The rule was first encountered in the One-day International between England and Australia on 7 July 2005. |

If you want to watch or play in the US, there are actually a good number of cricket clubs in the US. It's just a case of knowing where to look. I played a bit in New York when I worked over there. Most clubs are run by expats from the big cricket playing countries.
Have a look through:

Unfortuantely, the administration of cricket in the US is going through a bit of a political crisis at the moment...

yep, if any, there's not very many people that are into cricket over here. people over here like football, basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer etc., but since you lived or live here in the U.S. you probably already know that. |

Howzat is the one and only album to celebrate crickets new-found popularity and the Ashes coming home! It’s the Unofficial England Cricket Album, packed full of up for it anthems and cricketing classics to help celebrate the first ashes win in 18 years!
This is the perfect soundtrack for the weekend, full of Barmy Army sing-a-long anthems and tailor made for all the Lads out there who work hard and play harder (a bit like our cricketers!), and the ideal accompaniment for the forthcoming tour of Pakistan.
Does anyone reckon that Underworld had Englands forthcoming tour of Pakistan in mind when they wrote 'Born Slippy'? I think not. I'm officially off the cricket bandwagon now. I think that Kickball is my next bandwagon of choice, I read an article about it and it sounds like a cross between baseball and football and you can drink beer while you play it. Have any of the American bravecaptain board posting people played it? |
