Best line I have heard all week:
"I'm much happier. Much poorer but much happier and I wouldn't go back."
Glad to hear it! _________________ none |

Didnt Britpop pretty much kill guitar music for a couple of years, afterwards everything was dance music and clubbing, I remember when the Beta Band came out it was like 'oh shit a decent guitar band' and then it was all chemical brothers, Skint records and Ninja Tune till the Strokes came along. I always figured it was a reaction against sleeper and gene. |

Against bloody Menswear more like. And the Longpigs, Kula Shaker, Ocean Sodding Colour Scene and Dodgy (ffs!). And as for the deification of Paul Weller - he's the Eric Clapton of his day, only more dull!!!!
Absoloute complete load of toffee one and all.

I saw an advert for something tonight and the soundtrack was Baby flipping Bird.
There's another one I hoped I'd forgotten!
There was some crap around then wasn't there? It was no better than Mcfly or Busted really! _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |

*Longpigs are incredible and I won't hear a bad word said about them (if you try I'll put my fingers in my ears) _________________ http://www.facebook.com/thelostcavalry

OK,
You can have the Longpigs.
But no way is anyone having Kula Shaker, Dodgy or Weller.
Ever. _________________ We would like to announce that due to cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off..... |
