Me! And Colin Murray and Edith Bowman! I wanna be famous and go to award ceremonies. Not only have i not got any of the albums on the shortlist, I've not even heard of most of the bands. Quite like the name 'Polar Bear' though, get your money on them pop pickers.

Anthony and the Johnsons.......

Question

What the fuck sort of drivel is that!

There's all these people saying that single they had is the most moving piece of music ever when it just sounds like a spastic whining in a teapot.

Anthony and the emperors new clothes more like.

Worse than that Roni Size clown that won it back in the day.

The give a fuck-ometer just melted...

Dr Phil, give me a sedative.

Woah Woah Woah, Roni Size was good, admittedly he killed Drum N Bass cause afterwards all the stuff in the magazines was double concept jazz albums with breakbeats and Goldie writing hour ong operas about his mu (i shit you not), but on the dance floor it remained kick ass, and Roni Size was awesome, the watching Windows remix was brilliant, and the second album was pretty good, DJ Die made my favourite DnB track 'Drop Bear' and nobody cares do they. Sorry, I spent about two years of my life with my head in a breakbeat bucket, sometimes it comes back.

Just some chancer from Knowle West shouting over a load of noise.
Like being next to a a road drill in the middle of Park Street on a Saturday night.

'Yer 'ark at 'ee mar. Casn't say I likes the sound o'they bleeders. I reckons we should chuck'n over the suspension bridge! Noisy buggerrrr!

I own that Goldie 'Mother' album and I have never managed to listen to it all the way through, it's soooo boring. It's at least 20 mins before any drums join in, and it's the most cheesey thing ever too "Mooootttthhhhhhhher". Yikes. And Timeless was so good too.

I'd loved the A & TJ song I'd heard several months ago, so today is the first time the Mercury Music Prize has ever had any influence on what I bought.

Only on song 3 but it's just lovely.

Is KT Tunstall any good? I like that single but fear she may just be Dido in disguise.

KT Tunstall is actually rather good and not at all Dido in disguise, that's the opposite of the truth. She is a talented musician in disguise as a Dido. She's been marketed in a really stupid way that will ensure record sales. It seems like the record companies only care about making money or something. I wouldn't buy the album though because I don't like the production on it... and because I can't afford cds anyway.

I would also say the same thing happened with James Blunt though I know some people might disagree. There are people who are so bored of hearing his songs that they have resorted to calling him names.

Antony and the Johnsons is spelled like Antony and the Johnsons. He is very good. He is much better than the Kaiser Chefs and The Magic Number.

The real winner was Polar Bear because they probably got the least votes from the judges despite being real good. And Seb Rochford should win any competition just for having really massive hair. Even if it is a best bald head competition.
